I have a 350 small block pretty much stock except for a larger cam .510 lift, 275 heads that have not been ported or polished, double springs, and high performance lifters that came with the Blue Racer Cam and I am using a edelbrock 750 carb. ____________________________________ The cam has a .510 lift. I also have a MSD Ignition kit installed. And the fuel pressure is only at 4psi with a quadra jet carb, it isn't the carb., because the quadra jet carb., is in replacement to the Eld. 750 that is brand new I just took it off to see if it was the problem, still too much fuel is going to the plugs and out the exaust, the #2 and #3 plug seem to foul first the heads are stock and so is the motor it is a 4 bolt main, I don't know what to do with it? Any help will be appreciated!

Are you useing stock or after market intake? and is it exhaust heated or cold? A single plane after market on a stock engine will dump gas at low rpm as will a manifold with to large or too long runners.A heated carb will work better.

I am using an aftermarket edelbrock intake! Not sure about the exaust heated or cold, what is the best way to check? Just feel what is coming out?
Thanks

There are ports in the head that let exhaust gas into the manifold ,it runs to base of carb.base of carb chould be hot after motor has run for a while. If you have stock exhaust manifolds make sure the heat riser is working.also make sure your choke is opening.

If that Edelbrock is a single plane with that cam it will not run right under 4000 or so rpm even with a two plane that is way to much cam for good street driveing .I have the old 350 horse 350 cu. cam with an Edelbrock Perfomer manifold with a rebuilt quarajet. on a otherwise stock 350 in my 80 Monte Carlo with a350 automatic and it runs like a dream ,has for the last10 or more years .Rethink the cam and check your manifold and you should be in good shape. Good luck.
