Oh, and I kinda failed to mention, like almost everything else, there are all kinds of YouTube videos on the subject. As well as videos from the guys who market carburetors for old cars. Once you see how they have done it, it's a lot less scary. These are also the guys who have a great selection of said linkage components too. I used Stromberg carbs on my build and the various linkage components were offered there too.
Do a little research also about the various rules for two carbs as apposed to the three carb setups. Two is usually linked solid (together) and three is usually a variable config I.e., one is primary and the other two kick in later. I have my suspicion though that each vehicle requires their own unique configuration for best performance.
