I am in the process of restoring this 1925 Chevrolet 1 ton model R truck. Can anyone here identify who might have made this cab? I believe the one piece windshield is incorrect. Thanks!

Here's one I found on the internet that looks like yours. Give them a call and see if they know who made the cab.

Great looking truck! Great survivor!

Thanks!

I looked up that truck and called Connors, but it sold quite a while ago and they did not have any information about who made the cab. After looking at the details, I see that it is slightly different than the one I am working on. Besides Martin-Parry and Hercules, who were the other major cab makers?

While I understand your desire to know who made your truck cab, it is not going to help much in your search for a windshield. The likelihood of someone, with a pile of old windshield frames, knowing what body manufacturer they came from is almost nil.
I hope you followed up with Chipper to see if the frame he mentioned would work for you. You also still have the option of making a wood frame, as was previously suggested. Perhaps some larger frames could be cut down to the size you need.
When working on something so specific and obscure, it is necessary to bring much imagination and resourcefulness to the project.

I never heard from him so wrote it off. The other option is to contact NC Industries https://windshieldframes.com to see what stock frame material they might have that could be made to work.

I spoke with Jeff on the phone at length one evening and he sent me some pictures of some frames he found in a junk yard. I mentioned to him about getting them for the pivot hinges and using the same cross section style, getting new material from NC.
I'm of the same thinking as Mike. Going to need to use some imagination. No way of knowing for sure what exact style of frame work would have been used.
