I have one rebuilt by Ray Holland for a '51 if that would work.

Unfortunately i don't think that will work. If I remember correctly a 1950 radio was a vertical faceplate design. In 1951 Chevy switched to a horizontal faceplate.

I wasn't sure but thought there was a difference. Maybe someone else would be interested?

Bill, the '50 radio is a two-piece affair with one section containing the tuning controls and the other section the speaker and tubes. Some people see the section with the push button tuners at a swap meet and think they've struck gold, but they have only found half of the treasure. The '51-'52 radios are one-piece. The '49 will fit a '50 but the colors are different.

My inventory contains both 49 and 50. Brown for 49, Grey 50. Mine can be upgraded with am fm bluetooth usb regardless if you've changed over to 12 volt neg ground. Can do 6 volt also. These do not need the amp power supply section. Fit and appearance doesn't change. Still the 49 or 50 radio. New electronics guaranteed for a year. Mine are push buttons. Not fixing any just upgrading.
