I am looking for a piece, and I don't know what it is called. It looks like a small brass Cup that goes into the oil connector with a spring. It helps to connect the oiler to the rocker shaft, and should be 1/2 in diameter.

Take a look at page 14 of the Master Parts List 1929-1941. I think the part you are describing is in group 1.928 which is on page 34.

That one says 5/8" diameter. The opening is only 1/2"
