Purchased a new wiring harness from Gary, The diagram that came with the kit shows a "round style" lighting switch. Mine is more rectangle which Gary said is correct. Can anyone provide me with a diagram to identify each terminal?

the diagram maybe generic in shape reference. easiest way would be to meter the legs of the switch. same ordeal with my 1929 but only 20 something wires, so easy to trace and meter them out to make sure they are right. with a meter can test for continuity across legs, they are typically in order as marked on the front, how a switch works by contacts, connecting power to the leg it touches. does you dash look like one in the picture attached ?? one is a 1928 long lever other is a 1929 thumb

hopefully someone where can get you a picture of how they wired their switch.

one leg is the HOT (+)
same leg across fuse
other side of fuse splits one to ignition switch one to ammeter

one leg to the parking light, dash light, tail light
one leg to the headlamp
? one leg to the side lights if equipped ?

Part of this discussion was in a previous post. So in 1928 there was two different light switches used. I think one was called a Clum switch but the other escapes me. On the back side of the switch the contacts are labeled. The lettering is rather small but they are labeled. Remove the 4 wing nuts holding the instrument cluster into the dash. The "T" bolts stay with the dash and just flip over out of the way. Gently drop the cluster down to a point you can work on the back side. You may have to disconnect the oil line from the dash in order to do this. Of course all of this should be done with the battery disconnected.
