I am going to be replacing the tires on my 1932 chevy. The tire size is 5.25/5.50-18 with 3.250" white walls. Coker tires sells a firestone tire with raised lettering on the white wall. Did the original tires have raised lettering on them ?. Also the only tire tube I can find in that size has the valve stem offset, The hole in the rims for the valve stem that are on the car appear to be in the center. Has anybody recently purchased tire tubes for this size and type rim ?. I have found Lucas tire sells the 5.25/5.50-18 tire with a smooth white wall available if the factory tire from 1932 did not have raised lettering on them.
