My '35 Standard Coupe has been on stands for about 2 years. I would only work on it when my Son came to visit. We got it back on the floor last week with New woven brake linings, (with "by the book adjustment") new tires, new hub caps, freshly powder coated cream medium wheels, and oil change.
Here's a look.

Hi there
I'm jealous!
One of Chevrolet's prettiest cars in my judgement.
Still got a 35 engine in it?

Yep, original engine. It goes to the muffler shop tomorrow for installation of a NOS genuine Chevy muffler. He will make a tailpipe. I'm hoping my exhaust pipe is OK.

Here is a "before" picture from about 1996. That's my son, Sam, headed off to his high school prom. When he visits nowadays, his teenage daughters get to hone their stick shift driving skills on Grandpa's cars and trucks.

Thanks for sharing. I love the prom picture. This is my grandson taking his date to the prom in my wife's '56 Nomad.

How could I say no? I had been telling him, his whole life, that old cars were cool. He was driving a 1938 Chevy 1 ton to school every day. He has defected to Corvairs these days.

The kids at my grandson's prom voted for their favorite prom car. A Maserati and a stretch Hummer limo lost out to a '56 Chevy Nomad. Don't you love it?
