Hello All,

I recently got a used eagle radiator cap as a gift for my 1931 Independence. But the pieces on the underside that screw it onto the radiator are missing. Any suggestions where I might be able to find a replacement for the missing parts?

I had the same issue. Since I'm a cheap SOB I drilled the radiator cap with a 1/2" bit so that the eagle would sit flush. Then I found a nice cap screw with an allen head. Washers, and a nut on the bottom of the cap and it looks decent.

Thanks Dogbreath. Do you happen to have a photo of what the fix looks like?
