The 1937-1952 fan belt, GM part #3680776 is 5/8" wide and 41 1/2 long at the pitch line. Dayco #23425, Gates # TR 20426

The last belt I got was from NAPA and was smooth.

The notches / teeth in a belt just look wrong - too modern. Like seeing a universal upper radiator hose with the accordion look, just jumps out as you as wrong.

I buy my fan belts at my local hardware store. They are fractional horsepower belts that have proven to last many years. Can't remember the last one that failed. Much less expensive than belts sold at auto part stores. They are smooth as well.
