OP mike48fleetline Grease Monkey Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 12 calif	How do I hook up the throttle cable to the carburetor on my 1948 Fleetline? The car has been in the family since 1949 and has far has I know the cable has never been hook up. I have had the car since 1977.

kevin47 ChatMaster - 3,000 Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 3,136 Valley Springs California	There should be a metal "clamp" on the top of the carburetor, to hold the cable and the cable goes vertically down and to the gas pedal linkage...You probably have a cotter pin near the bend where the cable should go... Can't post a photo...But, a helpful member will...That should clear things up...! 1947 Fleetmaster Sport Coupe VCCA # 47475 If it's not wearing a Bowtie...It's not properly dressed...!
