No. The 37 was the first year for an all steel body. They are two different cabs.

According to parts book. If you bought a new cab for a 1934-1937 truck you got a 1937 cab. When mounting the 1937 cab on a 1936 chassis you needed the following: gas tank and related parts, instrument panel and gauges, floor and toe board parts.

Should work either way. There are two design cabs in 1936 Early had little built-in visor above windshiels and late was smooth. The late looked more like a 1937 cab.
