I am trying to identify where these two part are suspose to go. The spring is 6 5/16" long and 3/4" dia. The two buttons are 1 3/8" dia.

Anyway, it's just a guess...The others look like modern shock washers...Hope that I could help/confuse... laugh

This is a 3 year old photo of my coupe. It doesn't look anything like this now,but you can see this spring next to the frayed wiring.

Okay...Couldn't you get the muffler ground spring in the photo, too...? Oh, wait a second...That "thing's" long gone, huh...?

My old exhaust pipe had a welded on attachment for the spring but the spring was gone. I think when the 216 was swapped out for the 235 it never was put back on. I've got a fenton split manifold and all new twin exhaust now. I never fully understood what the spring was for. Some say radio ground and some say swag in the exhaust. Neither one make any sense to me.

Looks like the clutch return spring to me..The others are, like someone else said, modern shock absorber washers that go over the rubber bushings....ED

I'm with Ed, looks like a clutch pedal return spring to me. The two washers look too small to me to be shock related. The center hole appears to be 1/4".

My guess on the washer type parts would be internal parts for the brake wheel cylinder..Billu38

There are no washers like that in a 38 brake cylinder.
