Jack ,
I have ordered 600w ( Transoil 250 Penrite ) from Autopro and will change both Transmission and Differential .
My Universal Housing has a gease nipple fitted on top , i beleive this is not correct ,it should be a blank plug. Somebody said putting grease in the housing does not really lubricate the joint .
Is this correct ?
Thanks for your help once again.

With my 38 the lower diff cover bolt should have drained oil but there was that much crud there I ended up removing the whole cover, some of the crud was rusted roller cages out of the bearings. Tony
1938 1/2 ton Hope to drive it before I retire

Tony ,
Thanks , I don't think i have bearing problems, i just need to change the Diff oil so i know where i'm at with the Roadster. Then i can cruise without problems, thanks again.
