Copper scrub pads such as "chore boy" can be used, don't require painting, and will not rust or deteriorate. Available in almost any supermarket.

Speaking of air cleaners/flame arresters, anybody know where I can get one for my '31 1/2 ton? It was missing when I bought the truck 35 years ago. I've just started the restoration and I'm learning there are a few items missing that would be "nice" to have.
