I have a 1951 Chevy, 3 speed. It had a 216.
My '51' now has a 1955 235 engine.
How can I tell if the distributor being used in the 235 is the 216 OR the 235 distributor?
Thanks,
Bob

The '51 dist. used what I'd call a low profile cap. The '55 is much taller. Neil

Does anyone have a photo of the 1955 235 distributor, showing a view from the cam gear to the cap? I'm unable to locate a good photo, showing the view I would like.
Thanks, Bob
