The original '32 luggage rack is correct for what other years, if any?
Thanks.

Thank you very much Chipper.
For a '30 would the arms need to longer or shorter?
Thanks again...

Any help??
If a '31-'32 rack is different than a '30 rack, how different is it and how hard would it be to modify it to fit?
Thanks...

The mounting arms are different length for the 1930 rack compared to the '31-32 luggage racks.

Thanks Chipper, would he have to lengthen them or shorten them? Do you know how much?
Anyone got a '30 rack that they can measure the arms?
Lots of questions come to mind...if I remember right the long arms are made of 2 pieces of flat stock and 1 piece of flat stock; would he have to cut/add to the 2 or the 1?
Thanks again for any help.

I made mine 7 1/2" c/c on the bottom arm to have the rack be perfectly level when a trunk is mounted on it. It's tricky getting it right because there are 2 bends and it's riveted at both ends. Done right it turns out nice. The upper is the same 30-32 because it rests at a specific spot when in the upright position. Nineteen thirty has a flat gas tank apron, 31 and 32 aprons are recessed, hence the different length arms.
