Can anyone tell me what paint color the metal is that is attached to the chrome bars on my 1951 Styleline Deluxe? The color is gone and I have the Grill apart and sending the chrome parts out this week. I need to paint the rest, but have gotten about 20 different opinions so far. I have researched everywhere I know of and found nothing. I want to keep it original, since everything else is so far.
Just found this site today and it is great...

Welcome Roger,
Did you visit us last 4th of July week at the DoubleTree?.The VCCA celebrated its 45th Anniversary in your fine town.
The color is Argent Silver. Its a common silver paint color and often used on wheels.Should be easy to find "ready mixed".
The two air deflector bars behind the grille are this color. All other braces, etc. are black.

Great and thanks. I knew you guys would have the answer. I can now get the grill done correctly. Yes, we went to the rally. It was great, but did rain some. Will be there again this year. Nice group of cars there.
Thanks again for the return answer. Roger
