I have a 1950 2 door sedan Deluxe. My Question is looking at the cowel tag I do not have any numbers after Trim or Paint. The tag reads as such,
Style 50-1011
Body S16567
Trim
Paint
Top ACC
I guess my question is, How do I know what color the car is and what the trim is? Does anybody know anything about this? Thanks, Ken

Looks as if someone goofed when the tag was stamped. The trim number for a DeLuxe sedan would have been 170.A dark gray and lighter gray material.Lighter gray on sets striped. There were no other choices.I would guess it was a 2 toned car.Is there any remains of the original paint?

I have a DuPont color chart. The paint that is on the car looks just like a color called, Crystal Green Metallic. The complete car is this color dash is 2 toned with this color with a light grey, all window trim is this color with the interior you discribed. However the looks of the car it looks like it has been repainted years and years ago. With it being repainted I was just wondering if this is the true color and if it is the true color was it 2 toned and what was 2 toned on the car?

The top of the dash and the garnish mouldings, steering column and shift lever were the same color and it would be described as a dark, greenish gray. The lower part of the dash the light gray.
Crystal green is lighter and more green but not a vivid green.Almost impossible to describe.
The Falcon gray was a definite gray color and somewhat like the dash. The Windsor Blue was a bit like the dash but more of a gray/blue.
What color is the fire wall and under side of the trunk lid?If the car were 2 toned they would not be Falcon Gray,Windsor Blue or Chrystal Green as in 2 tones those colors were used only on the upper body. The lighter of the colors was always the lower color (except on BelAir hard tops)
You should also find the otiginal color by removing a door handle, trunk wing moulding or hood ornament.
