I have a 48 Canadian built Stylemaster, I would like to find the colours for that year, all I can find are codes and colours for American made models, are they the same/different? Thanks

Generally speaking they were the same colors but with different names and paint numbers.I believe that I have the 1948 info. - will try to round it up later.

The Canadian built Chevrolet paint numbers ran from 800 thru 821.Tthey should be on the large tag on the firewall. It will also have the car engine number, serial number, body style number and trim number. Will say amde in Canada on the tag. This is very different from the US cars. The info. I have also shows numbers for US cars sold in Canada. Those paint numbers ran from370 to 383.The Canadian trim numbers (interior trim) ran from 401-403- Us from 131-155. Do you see any of these numbers?
