I exchanged a message with Michael earlier this week and he told me that he hadn't received a single call or email on this. I'm astounded. Is there really no one out there who wouldn't mind offering a hand to the club? Please go to the link above and read it again. Even if you don't have the skills listed in the ad, but are willing to do other tasks that might lend support to one of our "pending" projects, please drop him a line and let him know what you'd be willing to do. By the way, you'll soon see this request in an upcoming issue of the G&D. It's that important. We really need to leverage off of the talents and skills of our membership. The "experience" were looking is specific because we need to field a team where each person will rely upon these/their particular skills. Therefore a background in these responsibilities will aid the process and help us achieve the goals. But if there's some experience crossover or, if YOU or any one feels capable of any of these duties, PLEASE volunteer. These particular skills {marketing type} represent just a few of the tasks and duties VCCA could use. So if YOUR skills offer ANY value to VCCA, please step up. I'm sure VCCA can use all the help it can get. There's no such thing as too many good people helping out. I look forward to hearing from you. But there must be a lot more around, as well as there are also some very valuable VCCA-sponsors who should be promoted more than others. The selection I will leave to your choice. We will also send the board a members roster in June to show what we send a new member after receiving his money. The adresses to clothing etc. on top of this thread I have been collecting in the later years, and will continue. The sing-a-long song for next Anniversary in Flint is finished during this Easter, but you have to be there to sing and enjoy it! So the kettle is steaming here in Norway, but coming over for a working weekend is not affordable at the moment, says my wife! Solan G, # 32797 Take advantage in your hobby by being member of VCCA!
