Hi scherm, Welcome to the Chevy Chatter. You have come to the correct place to gather information on you 1922 490 project. For starters, you need to go to eBay and purchase an Owner's Manual, repair manual and a parts book. Those can be purchased in reprints that do not cost too much. After you have looked things over, then return here with your specific questions. No question is stupid. You will get a serious response. While this is all going on, look at the engine block, head and any data plates and report that information here and we will identify what you have. Again, WELCOME!

Hello and Welcome to the 490s world!
We are just checking who has "a stock of" cone clutch leather and rivets for a 1922/490, may be ready glued together, if possible?. Who can supply our guy in Scotland and soon?

Contact Bob Knaak at bobknaak@hotmail.com. He relined the clutch on my 1914 Royal Mail Roadster. He did a great job and it works perfectly.

I am not quite sure but think he wants $ 50 + postage for the leather needed and making one. Ask him.
