I was given a Carter Tool kit with many gauges and other bits and pieces. Included are three metering rod gauges but not the 109-125 for my 1935 Std. Each gauge is marked with a dimension which appears to be .060 less than the measured length. This brings me to the basic question of "What is the physical dimension within the carb being measured." If it is from the top surface of the metering rod jet to the pin where the rod hangs one could manufacture a workable substitute.
