I'm coming to the experts on this one. Can anyone tell me the correct color to paint a '54 235 engine on a 1/2 ton pu? I've researched it and found conflicting info. I've seen gray, blue and green in different sites. Any info would be appreciated.

http://1954advance-design.homeip.net//Web%20images/PPIP/PPIP-1912-1966-EngineColors.html seems to be a good site for anybody interested in engine colors..

34 & 35 trucks are the greatest. 36 high cabs are OK too.

Chev Nut is correct. I would be very cautious when using that list of engine colors. The listing shows "blue gray" but the engine color should be DARK blue-gray. There is a difference. Also, 1929-32 engines did not have 209 cubic inches, they were 194 cubic inches. And, the cubic inch listing is wrong for 1933-36 engines as well. As Chev Nut noted there are other errors in that list too.

:( :( :(
