Got a new problem with my 54 belair, with a powerglide. Occasionaly at start up. the throttle will not go down more than half way. I get under the hood jiggle the linkage that goes to that piece the spring goes to and it is fine for a few weeks. ive lubed it up, it hasnt been apart. The only adjustment was last yeat when i rebuilt the carb i noticed the throttle only opened half way the way the rod that goes tho the accelerator was set up, so i spun it out. Was this a mistake, cause the problem started happening after that, thanke fellow motorheads, bill pearson
