In reparing my trunk handel I notice there is only a 90 degree swing. What position ( horizontal or vertical ) should the handel be when the trunk is closed and the handel latched?

Horizontal if you have a Coupe, Cabriolet, Landau Phaeton. Verticle if you have a '31 Roadster. The Roadster handle is different and more L shaped than the T shaped handle on the others.

Thanks Chipper, I thought I had it figured out but I made a mistake. The bronze part that holds the sliding bolt came loose and I had to use a screw through the handel and bronze to hold it in place.( J B weld didn't work ) I'm going to drill out the 6/32 rotate the handel 90 degrees and rethread with an 8/32. This time I hope I get it right.
