As you saw in the G&D, the Board meeting is in 3 weeks in Ontario, California. Are any non-Board members attending?
How about if we hold a Chat session over a couple of brewski's while there?

The "Boss" told me I should go but am not planning on it. Why would I pay for air travel, motel, meals and a round of drinks just to spend a few minutes during the meeting telling the BOD what they need to be doing for the membership? Most have already heard my rantings so my presents would have questionable value (puns intended). It might help the peanut gallery but you guys have all the chutzpa needed. Have fun boys!

I plan on going. It would be great to get together for a bit. Mike, are you bringing the '41? I was debating on driving the '59. Sabrina most likely will come out with me on at least on Saturday for the dinner. If she does, the '59 might stay home!

I will be at he Board meeting. And if I'm reading the above comments correctly, I appreciate your confidence in that fact, should I be the "Mike" your speaking of.
But I only have about 20 min. to offer my 20+ page report/findings on information and feed back I received while soliciting for the 2006 Anniversary Meet Donations.
So unfortunately I will NOT have time to carry any additional itineraries. But I will do my best to make you proud.

Mike, I hope you have summerized the report down to where it will hit quick, and then cause many questions from the Directors.,and a minimum amount of high volume snoreing  sounds.  :tired:

Well, Ahhh. Ummmm. Lets see. Summarizing a 20+ page report in 15-20 min. is, a, well, impossible, but I'll do my best.
Maybe this will help. My daughter says the following, "When my Dad talks to you, you are NOT allowed to not communicate." Maybe she's right....we'll see.
In communication training we say, "It's easy to express information.
Simply developing a specific tone and style helps people listen.
But you can not make people hear.
Reason?, Listening is an audible process. Based on tone, volume and sound.
Hearing is an emotional process. Based on interest and open-mindedness.
But I am sure Billy will help me.
