If no one can come up with an assembly, maybe someone can refer me to someone that can repair the top portion that is broken, of course then I will still need the regulators that open and close the wind wing.

The vent window regulators are the same for 1934-36 closed cars, and the cabriolet is considered a closed car. This should broaden your search. Wish I could give you some good news on the vent frame.

Thank you for the information, I did not know closed car would work, I have passed up some at swap meets , maybe now I can find what I need. Of course I still need to repair my assembly, or find another one.

Yep, it's like starting over, I couldn't remember where I left off, so I'm checking everything. Looking for parts, and waiting for deliveries, slow going. Besides, working in my warm shop is better than shoveling snow, and boy do we have a lot of that right now.
Does anyone out there have any pieces of windwings, I just need about 8 inches of the top portion, then I could have it welded to what I have. It could come from any Gm vehicle from that era.

The vent window assy nor the vent window regulator are NOT the same as any other closed car. They fit only 34 cabriolet. It is a pot metal casting that is all together. The parts catalog has no replacement for the regulator. It is serviced as a vent window assy only. Sorry to mess up your search. Good luck with your search as they are RARE......Joe
