Hi,
I am new to this forum. I have a 1948 3/4 ton I am working on and have recently acquired 2 1929 chevy 1.5 tons.(for free) My question is can you still buy parts for these 29's?, like fenders and such. Usually you don't see any parts for older than 1934? Well thanks in advance any help would be great thanks, Jess

Hi Jess,

Welcome to the Chevy Chat Site. I think you will be surprised as to the results you will get here. Perhaps you will get some response here I suggest you move your post down to the Truck Forum.

Glad to have you.

Jess,

I have a 29 LQ. The restoration is slow going at the moment, but after a couple of years of looking I've found most of what I needed. Some things are available from catalogs (wiring, small parts, etc) but most often its at swap meets, ebay or this club. Seems once you get below '32 not much demand. What condition are the trucks in?

Its in pretty rough shape. But I know some tin knockers that might be able to help me out. Worse comes to worse they'll make good lawn ornaments. I was just hoping to find some fiberglass fenders for it. I'll keep on lookin I guess thanks, Jess
