My 1931 sport coupe's color scheme is #70 and has a stripe which is pale gold bronze. Can anyone suggest a source for this color which best matches the original. Thanks for your help.

I don't know of any paint chips or formulations for that color. The best I can suggest is to make a paint that would be gold with a bronze base. One Shot or sign painters paint would be the best to use for stripes.

Quite a few of us have asked that question here over the years...wish somehow we could come up with a color 'mix' or formula that maybe all of us could use..

Chatter has the chance to “set the color standard” for the pin stripes….the experts here should be able to come closer to what the ”˜correct’ color should be … a lot better than me for sure.

Has everyone made their own mix or what in the past?

Try the following. I don't know the exact "Gold" you are looking for, but I used this vendor for my fender stripe on my '32 spt cpe and was very happy with the results
