Can someone tell me how many 1939 chevy pickups were made and where, if not all were assembled? Thanks.

My sorce shows that 41,226 1/2 ton pick-up were made in 1939.There was a total of 58,379 1/2 ton trucks made in 1939,with total truck production at 150,383.
Pick-ups were built in all ten US assembly plants.Your serial number would tell which plant and what month.

I really appreciate the info. I don't see much info about this model in the news stand publications. I am not sure when I will start, but I have my grandfathers 39 1/2 ton and my son and I want to do a frame up restoration on it, since I have retired. I have been collecting resourse materials and researching at this point. Thanks again.
