Hey All.

Could someone help me with a 1973 Chevy Impala A/C Blower location. The compressor works but the fan doesn't.

Thanks.
Tom.

Check your shop manual. It should not only show you the location but it should also give instructions on how to replace the blower.

:) wink

I would check the awitch, fuse holder, resistor and relays before digging into the blower motor.
To find the blower moter remove the right front wheel.Unbolt the rear half of the inner fender skirt(wheel housing) pry lower rear part forward and you will see the motor behind it.Some guys used to cut a hole like a big flap in the inner skirt to get at it.Look and see , yours may already have one. These motors usually required replacing every few years as the bearings would get dry and squeak. If left long enough would sieze and burn out the motor.......have fun :)

Check the resistor unit, which was notorious for burning out.

Does the blower operate in any of the speed settings?

And incidentally, WELCOME TO CHEVY CHAT!
