Does anybody know if you can buy the front frame horn blocks that the bumper bolts on to? They just are riveted to the frame. Thanks Scott.

The front frame horns are not being reproduced. You might be able to find a used set on a damaged frame somewhere, but new pieces are not available as far as I know. :( :( :(

Those brackets that were used for bumper & spring are the same on car & 1/2 ton p.u. from 1929 to 1933 with the exception of the 33 std. The old part numbers were 354591 LH and 354592 RH. If your unable to come up with them through the parts wanted, you might want to check with some of the local street rod guy. They sometimes are a good source of the parts we need. Good luck, joe

Don't feel like the lone ranger. I loande a fellow a carburetor to get his 29 Chev running. It ran so good he sold it. Yes, it had my carburetor on it. The best thing to do is get over it.

Tonto say" No wonder you be LONESOME RANGER you Dummy!........Gittum up, Scout"
Youall can just call me "Another LONESOME RANGER", my brother borrowed my tools and tool box back in 1959 and the next day the finance company re-poed his new Impala!, guess where the tool box was....Yep it was.
And FYI, it was NOT the brother that shows up here ocassionaly, I have two brothers.

Tom I sent an email to 31chevcp about the horns and I got this reply from him today.
"Tom I am so glad I finally got something from someone....I have lost everything on my computer had to rebuild another one... Please send me your complete address again and the amount of shipping and I will at least double that for you... I never wanted anything to happen like this I am a very honest person..And thanks again... Scott"
So it looks like 31chevcp needs to get the information from you again so he can pay for the s/h of the horns.
Isn't it great when things work out the way you hoped?

Mike, I feel for your situation and it will be a lesson for the rest of us, however, I really doubt that we should consider re-vokeing someone's membership in this not-so-noble experiment for something that happens between members. I don't think that is under the authority or jurisdiction of the moderators, and I would not venture to try to speak for the Administrator....

Don't worry about Scott, he's not worth the effort. This taught me a lesson: don't ship parts with out cash in hand. Just glad it wasn't a bunch of money.

I'm happy everything worked itself out. People are under various pressures and work in mysterious ways sometimes. Thanks Scott, for doing the right thing even if it seems late. Gary
