I don't see your problem. By his own words:
Quote
Q: What part is 1928?
Jan-02-07
A: The doors and headlights are original. The remainder of the vehicle is a custom built replica.

I mean, what more could you ask for?

The part that galls me is that it is probably registered and licensed as a 1928.

I sent him a question that he actually posted. I said the headlights were seaed beams, leaving only the doors as 28's. The question was if it was titled as a 28 and if so how did he manage to do that.

It's registered and titled as a 78.

Ya think if he tells us it "looks great" and is a "beauty" enough we will believe him and forget the evidence before our very eyes? That there is the butt ugliest thing I ever saw and I have seen a few! It looks like the love child of a F**D and a sewer rat!

I was thinking if it works the way he's telling us it works we can take any old part off of any old car, a 37 Cord for example, put it on a lawn mower, and call it a 37 Cord.

You might want to forget the Chev and go for this Pontiac. It looks like a far better proposition to me. Heck, it hardly needs touching, much.

Hello rbl2, snatch this one and you will be the only guy in baton Rouge with one! ,or anywhere else for that matter. Just think when you park it on the mall parking lot, you won't have to wonder if this is THE CAR or someone else's!

Somehow I think I would feel better driving that old fridge. At least it would have more original parts on it.
