Does anyone know where I can get photos of the original interior of a 41 business coupe; or of an interior that has been restored to original design?

will look thru my collection" and email you some pictures.
Hampton Coach will have a ready to install interior for your car.The 1941 Master DeLuxe had rather plain tan mohair so it will be easy to duplicate.

Thanks. I will look forward to receiving them. I have a quote from Hampton, and a sample of a "Bedford Cord" and a "Mohair" fabric, however, before I go forward I'd like to see how it looks in toto when finished---especially how the seats blend with headliner and door panels.

The Bedford cord was an option for the Special deLuxe and seldom seen. The Master DeLuxe had the tan short nap mohair and it had a slight chevron pattern in it.Actually there were two interiors available for the business coupe. The normal was the Chevron pattern and was trim #118.Some went out of the factory with a 1940 material - which was simular and was trim #119.The trim number is on the firewall on the Fisher Body plate along with the paint number, etc.
The Hampton Coach sample that I have 20-2 as a about as good as you can get.May have a newer number.Nothing will match your present colors.
I did send the pictures and could not find any good ones of a M.D.
Hope some of this helps :)

Wed Morning
I look forward to receiving the pictures. It seems strange that Hampton would send me a sample of Bedford Cord which was for a Special Deluxe when I told them I had a Master Deluxe. Thanks for alerting me to that error.

My trim number is 119. Hampton's trim numbers are 2-BC Bedford Cord and 33-1S for mohair. The mohair is a light brown with orange stripes.

They also sent me a headliner sample that was tan (A-804) and one that was light brown (A-806). Would one of these have been for Master Deluxe and one for Special Deluxe?

I sent two interior pictures last night. If you have not recieved them they may be lost in space.I used the email address in your profile....will resend them again tonight.
I just emailed you a picture of an actual sample of the mohair upholstery for your car.Its from the 1940 Dealers Albumn-seeing your 1941 business coupe with 119 trim number is one of the ones having 1940 mohair. The 133S is good because its the real short nap mohair used in the 1940-and up cars. The problem is the orange squigly strip.Never saw a stripe that vivid in any chevrolet. If you look closly as the sample you will see that it had a dark brown stripe that is hardly noticeable. The tan part is a tad light but close.
The Bedford Cord sample in nothing like the flat cloth used in 1941.Would be a fair match for some materials used in the '30's.
A 804 headling is a good choice. The orange striped tan would be a fair choice.Probably about the best of what they have available.Sorry to say what they show you is what they have and and not what is correct. At one time they had many more good choices. This may be all that is available today.
The M.D. didn't have any extra leatherette trim as a Special DeLuxe had in 1941 but the business coupe had a tan leatherette insert on the front seat back-facing the load comparment. This would have been more durable when carring objects beind the seat.
Note that the picture of the sample in not 100 percent in color. Also note its the Master DeLuxe sample-Special DeLuxe 1940 is slightly different.

The M.D. and S.D. had almost the same color headlining

Thanks for all the good information. I got the sheet that has the two samples that you e-mailed, but not the pictures of a finished interior.

I look forward to getting those from you and any one else who might have them.
