This looks like a good canidate for restoration on ebay. The info is not correct of 852 production which is for the phaeton while the landau phaeton is 5,634. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=007&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=170063116458&rd=1,1

Be careful... I detected photos of THREE different cars in this pile. You need to know for sure what it is, that you're bidding on.

He revised his description and said two pictures were added in error. I'm not interested in the car personally but it would be nice to see it go to a restorer rather than a destroyer. Bill on a side note great job with the website!

Hi again Doug!
It's nice to be back in the VCCA after so many years! Some may remember me from G & D. I used to write "CHEVROLET NEWS" page, with details of British and overseas Chevies. I am, as a lot will know, the Pre-war Moderator on ChevyTalk, and have been since April 1999!
I just found the ORIGINAL '32 Confederation series Oshawa figures, and the Job No 150 5-passenger Standard Phaeton production was just "1"! The Job No 159 Landau Phaeton, Fisher 32571, was "44" domestic and "5" lhd export. The bodies were all received fully built up from the USA.

Have you come across any other survivors? ![[Linked Image from i12.photobucket.com]](http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a208/32confederation/DSCN1409.jpg)

Hello again! I doubt whether I will ever find another, out of 44 built! That said, I have found two 1930 Regina cars now, and whoi knows what may turn up one day!
Note on the Build Plate the blank spaces showing that the body was imported complete, and just had to be trimmed.

David: Serial No.572123, engine 2320551. Do you have production date for this? Thanks for the info. General motors Canada indicated 530 were built.

Cheers!
My understanding is that production started in Oshawa November 18th 1931, and my monthly production figures for Chevrolet show 118 assembled in November and then 1,229 in December 1931. How on Erath were so few produced in November I have no idea, but those are the figures! Poor Regina Plant had closed by early August 1931 and there was a complete shutdown in Oshawa as well until November 18th. I suggest that your car may have been assembled in January 1932? The castign date code on the cylinder block will tell us roughly when Walkerville Plant assembled the engine but from known date codes -versus- engine numbers, I'll bet there is a November 1931 code, which suggests that the engines laid around from late November, say, and production was so slow that they were only assembled in cars 8 weeks or so after casting.
May I please appeal here? GM of Canada Vintage Historical Services once had the 1930s production data sheets. In the past owners were sent Xeroxes, and we therefore have the 1932,1936 and 1938 passenger car data and the 1935 truck data only. The company say that they no longer have this data. Rumours abound as to where it went, and whilst I can believe the commonly-held suggstion, I shall not repeat it. However, if anyone has any production data for 1929-42 please let me know! My database has been compiled from Databooks where the original information has been impossible to obtain, but in 1934 I think it was, no definitive data has become available (except from Australia) and consequently I have had to speculate from known vehicles.
