I just bought a 56 nomad off of ebay that is destined for junk. I would like to save it-a couple of questions? Do any other models roofs interchange or can be made to interchange with the nomad? My roof is shot! Same question for the driver's rear quarter- do any other model's quarters interchange or can be made to fit? I am not putting a showcar together here, just a driver as the first step. Are the front seats the same as other models, as I need one. Is the 56 steering wheel the same as the 55? Thanks!

The Nomad roofs are the same from 1955-57-often rusted thru around the edges.
The lower part of the rear qt. panel is the same as a 2 door and patch panels are available.Front and rear sections At about $85.00 each.
Front seat would be the same as any 1955-56 2 door model-'57 would fit but back rests are thinner.
The complete steering wheel from a 1955 or 1956 will fit and are almost the same(ornamental differences).

The Pontiac Safari also shares the same roof.
Good Luck,
