Hello All, We have a 1925 Superior K Touring. The car is in good running condition, and we have been driving it this summer with no problems. Looking for a Raidiator Shell, and a left hand clamp for holding down the top in the down position. Also the car dosen't seem to want to go much past 30 mph. Is this normal for this model and year. Thanks so much, EJ

Locating a shell is becoming a serious problem. Some enterprising individual could fill a void if they were to obtain the original molds and start reproducing the aluminum shells.

As to the top holder. Look on the backside of the holder you have and report the part number here. Someone may be able to produce the other 1/2 of the pair.

Your touring should be able to attain 50 MPH and sustain that speed. There are numerous reasons why it may fail to perform at this speed. You will just have to run a process of elimination to improve the performance.

i dont know what you are checking your speed with .if it is the speedometer in the dash that may be the problem as the 25 - 25 - are junk as i have several and most that rebuild will not touch one for any price . my 26 will run about 45 and a little more going down hill but seems to keep up with most 4 cylinders without a overdrive on tour . the problem is stopping as i have a little patch under each rear tire that is the friction hope this helps

Pushrod, maybe you need to carry one of them anchors offen one of them working fishing boats and tie a ROPE OR A BUNGIE CORD around the rear axle, then when the cheese gets binding yell to Barb to "THROW OUT THE curse ANCHOR!" and catch a tree on her side of the road! :
