Keep posting to let me know which pages you are having problems with.

Later tonight I will CLOSE the board for a while while I rebuild most of the forum indexes.

The problem is definitely not fixed and I am getting error messages like the following just about everywhere I go on Chevy Chatter:

Error (Oil Light now on!)
Sorry, UBB has encountered an unexpected, fatal error. This error is extremely abnormal. Please contact the board administration. The error text is:
...

What I see;

Sorry, UBB has encountered an unexpected, fatal error. This error is extremely abnormal. Please contact the board administration. The error text is:
...

Could not perform buffered print to 'CachePath/ubb_files/forum_page/Forum35/forum35-30.cgi'.

The server has told me that the disk is out of space - I was prevented from writing to the file.

Please ask the administrator to contact the web hosting provider.

The exact error returned by the operating system is:
No space left on device

I've been having the same problem as JYD,and being "down under",it's even more frustrating!
As someone has already suggested,if the server can't deliver the goods that they're being paid for, change to a server who will do what their being paid for-providing a service. My thoughts anyway.

mad

Still having the oil light error everywhere I go. And, it is now 6:45 PM PDT, and I am the only one listed on Chevy Chatter! Sounds like all of the same problems still remain.

mad mad mad :( :(

Holy KRAP!!!

I just typed out a detailed review of what happens and then when I went to post it, the "dang" thing gave me the warning and wouldn't post it.

The SHORT version is in the 1930 -2000 time period it still isn't working......

Bill.

Ok, it's working, albeit slowly. It shows the wrong date and time too.

My withdrawal was so bad I broke down and called the dawg.

My rdstr wasn't getting any ignition fire. I solved a similiar problem on a 30 Pontiac but couldn't solve my own. I blamed gremlins. This evening the rdstr fired right up. I came inside, sat in front of my computer and found out this chat site was working too.

)(*&^% gremlins. mad

I wish that chat site coming back on line would finish my chev too. At this stage it would take 3 miracles to make that happen.

Am I correct in assuming that Mr.Bill Barker is responsible for maintaining whis web site? Is this a paid position? If it is not I am curious why he would take so much of his time and abuse for providing this service. I had the pleasure of meeting this gentleman at Grand Junction this summer and in my opinion he is a genuilly nice person and I personnaly would like to thank him for all he does.

Yup! Many many thanks Bill

For your info I've just had about an hour where I couldn't get on the site.

Edit
Bill I've sent you a private note This is the post I tried to load but got an unavailable message.
For me it's not important but thought you'd like to know. Yet again Thanks.

I also experienced a period of an hour or so earlier today where it was again "unavailable."

Thankfully, it seems to be working again.

FYI: Still pretty slow and the time stamp is still 5 hours "off."

Frustrating to be so slow; but pretty minor compared to not having CC at all for 8-9 days!!!

Bill.

Thanks for getting the site up again, Bill!

We really do appreciate all the hard work to provide the most valuable resource available to us as we play with our old toys.

All the Best,

Chip.
