lastnight, my neighbor pulled into her driveway and she got out without puttingit in park. she drives one of those giant chevy vans and when she got out, it rolled backwards and the door knocked her down. where i live, we have very steep driveways, and im downhill from her house so her van had a lot of momentum. well, down her driveway it went and up my driveway it came. it got the side of my pickup and plowed into my garage door, smashing the right side tailfin on the 59 pontiac catalina and bending the front bumber on my uncles 36 pickup.
insurance company is going to sort it out. hopefully everything goes smoothly :(

oh my gosh, that post sounded completely wrong. i dont mean to sound like i care about the cars more than the lady. oh my god,no. she is doing fine i drove her to the hospital and made sure she was alright. i didnt even mess with the cars, i rushed straight to her and carried her into the house. she is ok and there is no bodily injury except for a few scratches. the van didnt run over her she was just knocked down by the door while the van rolled past her. she, of course, was quite shakin.
again sorry for the insensitivity in my first post. i agree. who gives a damn about the cars when a life was in danger.

Don't feel that way, I understood that the lady was not hurt from your first post.

Sounds like the lady has one heck of a swell nieghbor. Good to hear good things about people because there are a lot of them.
I think I'm a fairly wise person because I'm smart enough to realise I'm not too bright.

Here's a one liner that may be appropriate at this point in this thread....
He who laffs last laffs best.
Another one: if the shoe fits, wear it.

And now that the trauma is passing and the rest is paperwork, she gets to tell everyone about the time she ran over herself and got into a 4-car pileup in her neighbor's garage. There won't be many who can top that story. Ditto from me for the good neighbor comment and the well-wishing for speedy recovery of scrapes and bruises.
