Add another Pre-WWII Chevy to the group.
In addition to garage tours we could have virtual tours around where we live. We could post photos of local places around our home towns.

Dan.

Together we can do anything. The impossible just takes longer.

I think that we need a go-to person right now so that we could send private messages with our data needed to handle the Chatter Charter startup.

How about you Louis C., since it was basically your idea in the first place?
We can vote right here
I vote yes.

There are a bunch of good ideas emergeing!

Just another item or two to throw up into the wind. Do you reckon we could talk the Adminstrator fellow to set aside a private forum for us, maybe the Elected Ossifers, like he has for the Executive board, the Technological Committee?

Please Billy, please!

So that we could hold our meetings and keep some membership records there? Of course we would continue to give all the casual members of Chatter our general discussion items etc.

VCCA chatter is a great place to spend time. We have a VCCA club in Montana, most of the members are also members of our local antique an dclassic car club. Our antique and classic car club is heavy on **** owners. When I have a problem I talk to our local members but also put the information about the problem on line and get a great deal of help for the mechanical part and also in locating parts. I have been able to purchase almost all the hard parts that I needed for the last 3 upgrades of the 52 from members of this site. Have a lot more faith in them than in E-Bay. talk talk talk

Can I join up too? Even though I'm a post war guy ('48 aerosedan). Chatter hashelped me tremendously and I've made some new friends here. I think this "new region" thing is a great idea. Heck, we can meet anytime and don't even have to travel and worry about the weather. I really like K1Dan's idea about virtual tours around where we live. By doing something like that we could all learn a liitle more about each other......and about the great country we live in. Ooops.........even across the big pond tonyw. Anyway I'd like to be counted in.

I take all the names and whatever else is needed.
Send them to here.

LauRayMar@optonline.net

I'll put them all in one box and throw it over to Joe.

This could turn out to be the biggest Chapter going!

Hey Mack. I thought about that special page too. I don't know about that as we kinda are here every day anyway. Besides I figure all the rest of the Regions would want one two. O'Billy Boy will be pulling all the rest of his hair out for sure.

There sure is lot's of great ideas we could try. Yeah, can't wait.

Now let's not forget most of ya are leaving for CO soon so get back to me before ya leave.

Hi Ray,
For those of us that aren't really sure about what info to send you, how about telling us what we should send you.
Thanks

So far so good.

Now let's hear from the rest of ya.

1. Name (chatter name and real name please)
2. VCCA # (must be current, we have to check it)
3. Address (those that sent the email to me need to follow up on this)
4. (signature, at a later date)

That's all that's listed on the official application sent by Macky.

You all should send me an email because I can't just assume that all of ya are serious. So far we have a few emails but not all that posted they want to be "counted in".

By all means DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY!

Thanks you all so far and a special thank's to Mr.Mack for sending the PM. After all the required names are recieved we can elect a director, assistant director, treasurer, and sectretary.

We also have to pick a "region heaquarters". That's a tough one!

I'd like to add my view on this.

Yup I'm in....But.....

As I've said before for me this site is the VCCA / My VCCA region.
In the past there has been personal attacks on people which I feel are un-called for. you can't like everyone & life would be boring if we did...BUT We should respect each other & their opinions.
If this is to work then we has to accept our diferences of opinions & out looks on life.

I'm sure that at regional meets the talk is not "Chevy, Chevy, Chevy"
There has to be room for a laugh & a joke as well as personal chatter.
How about if we all signed up to Messenger or one of the other net live chat rooms & have a meet that way?

I'm here becsause I like you guys I joined the VCCA because it is important to you all.
Except for this site the VCCA has little to offer me.

I'd still like to be able to add my stupid comments. Since the kick back against humour a couple of months ago I'm on the site under a new name & with a gag in my mouth/key board!

So count me in, another pre-war Chevrolet.

   cool cool

I am definitely in and agree with Kippers comments.
I also have felt some of the personal comments have been below the belt and hope they were meant in jest and taken that way.
The messenger idea is good but the time difference will make that difficult considering Kipper and I are almost 12 hours apart with the US somewhere between. It will be worth trying to arrange a time for a test run at least.

I propose the region headquarters as Chevy USA. Or could we use VCCAchat.org as our headquarters?
