Does a 1931 Speedo cable housing fit a 1930 car?

I found a NOS? 1931 cable housing on Ebay for a 1931 Chevy, will it also fit a 1930 Sedan?

Thanks,

Jim

PS Is there a parts book I could get that will help me determine what parts will be interchangeable between years?

There are several parts books that would help with the interchange. Two have been reprinted '29-32 dated Feb '32 and 29-42 dated April '42. They are available from literature and repro parts dealers. Originals occasionally are available. It is best to have one of the year of the vehicle or the next year and then another several years later. That way you can find the original part numbers and later replacements as well. I have about 10' section of shelving with only parts books which has proven very valuable in understanding what Chevrolet used.

Thanks Chip,

I will look for them. I think they would be helpful.
