papa-k, yes, I replied to d2d2 by pm and I believe that rgwiz may have, as well.. membership is temporarily on hold while the chapter formation is approved by the vcca...I think rgwiz is starting a "waiting list" for interested parties...if not, I would volunteer to do so... epi

Hi guys,
I just finished the "signature" form. I inserted all your emails into a form I made up and presented them as "electronic signatures". I added a VCCA logo on top and dated it today. It looks pritty slick!
"cordman", you should have the application packet by the beginning of next week.

Likely an untimely vote.
Nonetheless, I vote "yes."
Good work O-Kepi.

Kepi,
Just been "doing" summer. Cars, cruise-ins, fun, bought the 56 convertible just before daughter's wedding end of July, HAN in August, couple of trips to Cannon Beach in the 'new' 56, looked/looking at lots of others, still want to buy another car of some sorts, etc. etc.
Raining up here today. I guess we 'need' it; but rain sure doesn't "work" for me.
Skippy says no JYD Tour this year. Take care.
Bill.

Bill No JYD Tour, that will leave a big gap in the calender. Not that I could have been there this year because of work commitments but was hoping to get to next years. Tony

Heres' the latest. I mailed the application packet to Joe Smith yesterday. He should have it by Tuesday or Wednesday. It includes the application, by-laws, filing fee and copies of your emails as "signature" proof. RayG

Ray and Kepi, you guys are doing a fantanstic job!!!! I'm sure all of us appreciate the time and talent both of you are expending. We haven't seen any dues yet, but I know you fellas have expended countless hours in this endeavor and spent a few bucks with application fees. Please let us know if we can help in any way. Ken

Yep, They are doing a good job.
Maybe we should be sending some pictures of our dead presidents( US not VCCA) to start a Club Treasury. I vote on $15 per year for the Charter Members' first yearly dues and then $12 per year there after, or until we need to make an adjustment. (I move that we do that)
Maybe we can inspire our Chat Administrator to set up a private forum such as the Business Committee and the BOD have? . to facilatate our business meetings, of course we need a Charter first, not to put the Trailer before the Silverado!

Great idea MrMack. I second the motion......as soon as we have an official Charter!! I look to guys like you for a little help with this "club" and "charter" stuff.......I'm just a old guy with an old Chevy and an appreciation of the fellas that can make it all work.
Thanks friends, Ken

I move that those that have used their personal funds to facillitate the registration of this charter be completely reimbursed from charter treasury as soon as practicle. Tony

I also agree with MrMack on the charter only forum especially for the business part at least. I also agree with the suggested dues even though the presidents arent that common here. Tony

Hi all, In case anyone is interested we now have the minutes of our first meeting. I copied all the meaningfull posts going way back to July 22. All the nominations, voting, motions, and comments are now in a MSword file should anyone want to view them. Caution! There is 45 pages! Anyway, I'm going to go for a ride in a '32 Sport Coupe. Have a nice day!

Hey! Tony! in your case it would be a fine shot if you would mail in some of these polymer copies of your dead & maybe living blokes! ![[Linked Image from dfat.gov.au]](http://www.dfat.gov.au/facts/images/dollar.jpg)

RGWiz, do you mean there were some post without meaning? I reckon we would have to read, or hear read, the minutes in order to make any corrections, or APPROVE them as read? As for dues would it be okay for me to email in a picture of a five and a ten dollar bill? (a digitual picture of our members sitting on the front row at our last meeting) just kidding! I will mail the money to our Treasurer Mr.Louie C at his home address, OK?

MrMack All the ones on polymer are long gone like your dead presidents. If I mail you 1 purple and 1 blue polymer will you convert them to dead presidents and forward on to the treasurer as my membership in full? At least those with failing eyes can tell how much polymer we are handing over unlike your presidents, all the 1 colour. Tony

Sounds good to me, why not just send them directly to the treasurer? then he can send them in to National to pay our charter fee, to me dollars are dollars red, green, blue or orange! You blokes down under pay more than we do anyway for VCCA services, a couple of months late.(I hope no one thinks the word Bloke is a derogatory term) If it is please let me know and I will just use another term! Thanks, The new Flower sniffing and kinder MrMack....

Oh Wacky One. Yeah, I didn't include all the not-so-meaningfull stuff just like the two and half posts above. Didn't the by-laws say something about not using canceled stamps?
