Well this thing seems to be rocking long. here again is a check off list, In the event this idea progresses to a project, Let's go back to the original list of needs and add one more thing:

In the event that we come up with a table, etc. to set up a Chatter site it has been suggested, by a friend of the site, that we might need to come up with several items:

someone to call the hotel and see if they have wireless (done)

someone to bring a computer (preferably a portable)

Someone to bring a large flat screen

Someone to print out some Chat pages in color.

Need a cardboard tri-fold to paste the screen shots on.

how about our hat emblem or thingy as a freebie to everyone who signs up?? (inprogress)

Also, there should be several of the moderators and other regulars that could sit at the table to meet members, help them sign up to vccachat.org and keep up with all the chat news!!

.........How about it?

One thing we need NOW is for someone to step up the plate and be a coordinator for the project.

Any volunteers?

I nominate Billy Barker to be it or chose someone he can work with, after all he is the real owner of this entire concept.

Hey Mack.

Most major hotels have conference rooms with some type of overhead projection system.
It would be really cool if you guys can go LIVE for a while. This way you guys can keep us posted on what's going on and some of us that can't attend can say howdy!

Sticker sheets should be at the Office Depot or any store that sells teacher/school type supplies.

Could use the non-stickers solid sticker sheets but the little blurbs would have to be cut out by hand on a paper cutter or scissors.

Slogan suggestions:

“ANSWERS, FACTS & HELP” at
(Whatever the Chat web address here)

“ALL ANSWERS, ALL FACTS, ALL HELP” at
(Whatever the Chat web address here)

“ALL ANSWERS, FACTS & HELP” at
(Whatever the Chat web address here)

Next week we will start the elimination process by posting your #1 choice on a new thread, to be announced probably on Monday.
Any updates yet?

Thanks

Update: nothing being done at the present, I been busy, if anyone is anxious, maybe they would go ahead and list the slogans in a post and ask the VCCA members here or whoever wants to vote since we don't know them apart.....to make a posting expressing their choice....I haven't figured out a way to run a poll, anyone have a way? Gotta run back to the shop, be back later......

Maybe we can narrow it down a little on this string.

Just say which poster has the slogan or slogans you like best from this list:

MrMack

K-S

JYD

Chipper

RGwiz

Louis C.

After we narrow it down to which poster has the most popular slogan or slogans we can narrow it down to the one the most people like. We can assume 1 vote for each of them already.

If anyone has a better way please let us know.

Thanks.

Ditto what Ramundo said....
and a "XXL" for me and a "L" for MrsMack

Maybe we should dispense with all the voting and do it now.
I move that the slogan to promote VCCA Chatter at G.J. Be:

VCCA CHAT is where IT's AT!

do we have a second? or.....opposition?

Say, I wasn't trying to railroad a decision to the slogan!! talk I just thought that you'd like to see the one that I ordered last week. (I mentioned this in an earlier posting.) snore

But the cool thing about these shirts is that you can customize them yourselves. Mine cost me $18.95 for a graphic on both sides... Total was $24.93 with shipping. :cool2:

One other thing. You might want to download these two graphics to your local harddrive before you go to the site. That way, when they ask you for a graphic, you'll have it already. curse

After they pop up, right click and save to your computer.

I added a link to this T-SHIRT SERVICE on my website so that you check them out. I don't know if they offer a discount for mutiple orders. The neat thing about this site is that you can "mock up" your shirt on-line and see how it's going to look BEFORE you order it.

Full Disclosure: Some of the links on my Barkerville Mall site are part of an "associate membership" with the affilitated companies. As a result, I may get a small percentage kickback for each order that you place with them. As I state on the site, I use this money to help defray the costs of hosting my own web sites. - Just wanted to let you know.

12 - 49 shirts 10% off
50 - 99 shirts 17% off

NOTE: I used this company a couple of months ago to order US Postage STAMPS with my daughters Photo on them. I gave them to her for her wedding shower -- she used them later to send out thank you notes to people after the wedding.... how cool is that!!!!?!!!!

Ok, so that I understand the process. Is there a website ,besides your site, where we can order the shirts with the mockup you posted here? and is there a certain item number?

Let me be clear....
I don't want to mock up a tee shirt I what one jest lack this'un!

[Linked Image from barkerville.net]

...Or should we send you our sizes and the funds to buy and ship the shirt?

And no need to worry about the slogan thingy. It is my opinion that the slogan is as good as any. I like it and believe we should cut to the chase. We could dilly dally right up to July 2nd otherwise. Let's Git'er Done!
...or????

There are lots of places where you can make and buy your own customized shirts on the web... This particular company is one that I've used before and have been very happy with their service. When my shirt arrives, I'll post a note about it's quality, etc. While I created it last week, I didn't actully push the "order" button until this morning... so, now we'll see how quickly they produce and deliver.

I don't have the time to organize a mass shirt order... and I"m sure that you'll find that it's easy to create and produce it yourselves. When you go to the SITE you will need to create your own shirt... but I've included the graphics in the earlier posting.

One other thing that I was going to mention, was that if people order their shirs themselves, then they might want to add their first name to the front of their shirts.

Could add their Chatter handle to the tee shirt also.

Could also add "Ask me about Chevy Chatter".

Small stick on's (like the 'Hello' ones) could be worn by non tee shirts folks with this statement on it also.
