I have some G&Ds from the '70s if anyone wants them, I assume the VCCA library has copies.

VCCA Son, I would be interested, especially if you are talking aboout scanned copies with the original blue mieograph color / appearnace.
I had the opportunity last summer to visit the 'VCCA Library' stored at Fink Printing. They have at least one original copy of every issue of the G&D back to the beginning. The first year or so was mimeograph pages, then B&W, not sure when that change took place.
38653, as you probably already know, the G&D publisher will sell you back copies, but that is only good back to the late 70's or early 80's, I don't remember the cut-off date for that service, but definitely not back into the 60's.
My own set goes back to January 1968, missing only May June July 1972.
I do not know if Pat McGowen (VCCA Librarian) is willing to copy any of the earlier issues or not, you could ask him. Contact info in the front of G&D each month.
Also, periodically you see old copies offered on eBay, or in the G&D ads.

Scanning the first years could be quite a project to do. But it could be done. I've been thinking of taking the project on later in the year. Will keep you posted. So far there are two interested in copies.

Vol. 1 No. 1 October 1961 has no name. Vol. 1 No.2 November 1961 is the first GENERATOR AND DISTRIBUTOR. Vol 2 No.1 is the first G & D with a cover. Vol. 2 No.3 March 1963 was the first G & D addressed with an adressograph. Before that they were all hand addressed. Vol. 2 No. 9 September 1963 was the first printed cover and it had a picture of a 32 Cabriolet on it. Before that the covers were hand drawn sketches.
