Just before Christmas, an honest politician, a trustworthy lawyer and Santa Claus were riding in the elevator of a very posh hotel. Just before the doors opened they all noticed a $20 bill lying on the floor. Which one picked it up?

Santa of course, because the other two don't exist!

Leave it to 42bill to take a simple holiday greeting and turn it into something political.

Thanks Tony! It took us two weeks of work (off and on) to get up all of the decorations on the old place and people are coming from miles around to see it. I just hope that the house will still be here next Christmas! :( :( :(

Merry Christmas to you as well!

Thanks Kepi Doodle!

We will keep working on the old place until it is either saved from destruction or it does go away. Hopefully though we will be able to save the house. We have a lot of events planned there next year, including a concert by a well-known country & western band.

Skippy,

Your "Merry Christmas" post is even better since you added the photos of the old "Wood House." Man, that looks neat!!

For those of us that have seen it and had the tour it means even more!

Nice work!!

Merry Christmas!!

The Wood House has appeared on thousands of post cards all over the world for decades. Now, you just might see some post cards in the futue of the house dressed in its Christmas splendor.

MM, I can use some gold, but don't need any frankincense or Mir...LOL

Anyway, Happy Holidays and Season Greetings to all no matter what religion you are or aren’t.

Remember, no drinking and driving…and by ”˜drinking’ you know what I mean; stick to the kid’s eggnog if you are driving.

Just wanted to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year. God's blessing to you all. I have found so much useful information in presenting questions, receiving answers, and looking back through the archives to see whats already been answered. Many of the things that I've wondered have been discussed previously. What a great website and resource. Thank you for making this what I'm sure it was intended for. You're great.

A sled, by automotive definition, would have to be a Mercury.

Merry Christmas to all!
