This is a first for me, getting G&D on the eve of the month. Bruce's 32 roadster on the front, Kanab Early Six Tour picture on back.

Happy New Year to all!

How long does it take before a new member starts getting a G&D? I've been a member since sometime in November.

Happy New Year!!!!!

The average time is two to three months before you get your first issue of the G&D after you join the VCCA.

What is the color combination number of the roadster on the cover of the January issue? Nice looking car.

Geez I hate it when I'm at our region's monthly meeting (on the first Tuesday of the month) and everybody is talking about the 'new' issue and I don't have mine yet.

I ALWAYS used to get mine around the last day of the month or the first day of the month (of the issue in question) and now for two months in a row I don't have it by my 'usual' time. Last month I didn't get mine until the 10th or so. I sure hope I don't have to wait another week this month!

I'm starting to feel like Oh Kepi. And I hate it!!

mad mad mad NUTZ!!!!!

Bill.

hey xlii bill,

I usually get mine by the last day of the month, too... laugh ...anyway, you'll become enured with each passing year of having late g&d deliveries...

maybe you should propose changing your meetings to the second tuesday of the month, just to be safe...;D

let's see, it's the fourth and no sign of this months issue yet...maybe next week...or the week after... :p

Sometimes I wonder about these conversations about getting the G&D a day or so late, heck the news and adds in it are probably 3 months old anyway, I would suggest anyone with an internet connection place their adds here on the Chatter.

This is the first place I L@@K for Club news and Chevrolet parts.

Anyone know how the VCCA BOD Elections came out?

I'm very pleased to report "it" came today, Sat - January 7th. yipp

Not as late as Dec; but way later than I've ever been used to in the past. Hope this week or two later than usual deal is now over. I guess I'll find out in 3 weeks or so......

MrMack, why don't you use your power and influence to get the classified ads from the G&D linked to this site so that we can all look at the new ads the same day.

Happy New Year

Like the suggestion, many people who might be relying on ads to get parts and don't recieve their g&d till later in the month are consistantly denied equal access to parts other members who recieve theirs on the 1st or a couple days into the month can get. Like the chrome plated leap year rear view mirror clock with the gold leaf trim! Maybe it could be done without being a big nightmare? Not being versed in the online setup of such a thing i would not know, i'm just happy to get this far online, whew! wazzup

Getting the classified ads from the G&D linked to this site would not be fair to dues paying members of the VCCA since, as of now, this is still an open site for both VCCA members and non-members alike.

Macky Wacky has influence? Heck, he doesn't even have influence over Mrs. Macky Wacky!

No problem, just allow access to that area of the site by entering your VCCA number and a password. It could help increase the paying membership.

You guys are going to hurt poor old Macks feelings and image.

It is not all that easy to do at this point. You can ask Billy Boy Barker (the site administrator) and he will fill you in on everything that has to be done just to do what you suggest. However, as I understand it, Chevy Chatter will be for members only in the near future so maybe at that point in time the link suggestion might be possible.

MM has power, That MM is Marvel Mystery oil, I MM or M/W depending upon who is talking, have enough influence to barely wipe grease offen one of JYD or Raymundo's old cars, then they yell at me about "Don't scratch the Paint M/W."

I did have influnenza once but had to work anyway, now I jest get a shot!...but I did stay overnight at a Holiday Inn Express back when I was gainfully employed.

WD Foster, is a good guy, but he asks for the impossible from the completely inadequate! :) bigl
