macky,

we drive in to get the mail, so, if I don't go there, the g&d might sit for a few days...that might account for it being even later...that's another reason why I don't get all worked up over it...

Chevrolet, several of my friends do that, they rent a P.O. box for $26 for six months rent, drive in and back 14 miles one way each day to pickup the mail.

I bought a $15 mailbox at Walmart, took it to the Texas DOT yard in town, they mounted the mail box at the gate next to the FM road, The post office took my physical address (it is necessary to have one for Nine 11 dispatching) anyway) and a nice lady in a Tahoe with two steering wheels collects my letters to be mailed, and deposits my mail in the box every day the post office is open...NO EXTRA CHARGE..It is called... Why not ship the overseas one week, Canada's and Mexico's the next week, Kepi's the next week. all ours, except the JYD's, the next week and two weeks later the JYD's. Sounds simple, not? togo croc

Wrong, Jerrygolf, Mail JYD's to me and then I will drop ship it to him after I read it, while I am waiting on my copy to arrive on the 5th or 10th of the month! Not so simple but the fair way! Agrin and he can be

Can't be your G&D! If you did get it, you received your G&D 21 days after I received mine and you live a lot closer to the post office where the magazines are mailed than I do!

hey, that's exactly what I was thinking...except, they're all pretty good at not leaving any prints, smudges, food stains, or dog ears on it and the platic is sealed nicely, too...very considerate chaps...

my G&D finally arrived today less plastic nightie - no finger prints, food/coffee stains or dog ears. with the fact is usually shows up on or about the 18th may I conclude a few postal carriers between california and my mail box may have had the pleasure of seeing what the vcca is all about

27 speedster, 28 coupe, 67 camaro, 67 p/u, 75 vega and noe 1920 490

Sounds like somebody in the "mail service" took off the plastic cover.

Maybe somebody thought it needed to be "inspected."

Amazing!!!!!

It may have been the I.M.S. - internal magazine services checking for international correspondance concerning the sale and or purchases of antique and vintage chevy parts that may or may not be leaving or entering the United States of America
It looks like it may forever be a mystery

27 speedster, 28 coupe, 67 camaro, 67 p/u, 75 vega, and now 1920 490
