Years ago a VCCA member was asking the VCCA Technical Advisor for his year of car about what type of spark plugs to use in his vehicle. And, I will never forget the TA's reply because it is a total classic. His answer was:

"If it will screw in it will work!"

I'm with 42bill, it took me a long time to learn it and sometimes I learned hard way but it's the most useful advice you can give someone working on an old car.

Oh man, I just LOVE this one.....

K.I.S.S.

Keep It Simple Stupid.

We hear over and over in here that after replacing / re-doing all the 'hard things' that it was just a 'simple, little thing' that caused the 'problem.'

I got some wooden round "to its" a few years back...LOL

John, it all depends on how you 'love' your neighbor...

Bet some local club could make shop banners with some of these quotes and make a buck or two...
