The engine serial numbers were different than the car serial numbers, and 2328050 is an engine number for 1931.

If you are looking for a listing of engine serial numbers from 1929 and up, go here:

http://clubs.hemmings.com/clubsites/chevytalk/GMhistory/1930to40motors.html

There is also a list of car serial numbers as well. Which are you interested in, the engine motor numbers or the car serial numbers? laugh laugh laugh

Engine numbers for Canadian models are different than those for the USA. The number that you posted is for a 1931 engine in the USA, and I was assuming that your car was built in the USA since you didn't specify otherwise. The USA engine numbers ran from 2100285 to 2951552 for 1931, and from 2951553 to 3367316 for 1932.

The number of 2328050 on your title is an engine number not a car serial number.....again, that's in the USA. Is your car Canadian built? Check the cowl tag, and if it is still there it will tell you if your car was built in the USA or Canada. laugh laugh laugh
